Looking for Ghosts, the Stanley Hotel is the place to visit.

The Stanley Hotel, Estes Park, Colorado was a wonderful location for international psychic advisor Rosemary The Celtic Lady to give her paranormal impressions of what she sensed at the historic haunted Stanley Hotel, CO.

Rosemary had many impressions of ghosts while she was at the Hotel Stanley. The following are just a few: She sensed a heaviness in her chest as she walked through the entrance to the Stanley Hotel which made sense as the original owner of the Stanley Hotel , Mr F.O. Stanley moved to Estes Park, Colorado because he had tuberculosis.

She also sensed an older man, a Lord, who was "a bit of a tea leaf," an expression used in her country to call someone a thief.

Lord Dunraven, whose picture hangs directly outside the old Dunraven Grille, reportedly acquired much of the land around Estes by "fraudulent means."

She sensed an old woman whose name was Amy or Ann, who worked at the hotel, and something about dancing and women in long gowns.

Artie, a cleaning woman at the Stanley Hotel  in 1979, was working in the MacGregor Dining Room when she turned around and saw a crowd of revelers, all dressed up in old-fashioned, fancy evening wear, who hadn't been there a second ago. She ran out, got the manager, and, when she returned -you guessed it -the entire crowd was gone.

Many spirits are still trapped at the Stanley Hotel , although none of them are dangerous in any way.

Mischievous definitely, but dangerous, no.

Although she does feel the Stanley Hotel could use a good spiritual cleansing.

Rosemary also strongly sensed the presence of a young woman, especially on the fourth floor. This woman makes herself known in several ways, one of which is by leaving the impression of someone sitting on the bed of one particular room.

One day a previous manager at the Stanley hotel was checking rooms on the fourth floor to make sure they were ready for guests. He locked the door of this one particular room he had just checked and started down the hall when he heard this door open again.

Thinking he hadn't quite closed the door properly, he went back to lock it, but had an urge to peak inside just one more time, Everything seemed in its proper place, until he looked at the bed, upon which he saw an impression, as if someone was sitting on it.

Needless to say, he dashed out of the room and down the hall, not locking the door this time. But halfway down the hall, he heard a lock click into place. Just as he rounded the corner and took off for safer havens.
